Spotlight On The Flower Power Cruise 2016

The Flower Power Cruise 2016 was February 29 - March 5, 2016 from Ft Lauderdale, to Cozumel and Key West.
It was one Groovy cruise with lots of great 60's music.
Day 1 - February 29, 2016 - The Celebrity Constellation set sail for Cozumel, Mexico. There was a sail away party with Beatle Brunch Radio Host Joe Johnson and hosted by Micky Dolenz (The Monkeys). An All Access Pass Live TV Interview with host Jason Venner was held with Jefferson Starship. Abbey Road on the River Artist Hal Bruce performed in the Grand Foyer. The Theme this night was: Welcome Night - It's The Grooviest Trip At Sea! The evenings main entertainment was with the Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone. Later in the evening, Jimmy Maddox held a singalong and also Abbey Road on the River Artist The Jukebox performed. A late night concert was held with The Buckinghams.
Day 2 - March 1, 2016 - We enjoyed a day at sea. To start the day off, there was a presentation titled Three Days of Peace and Music: A Presentation by "The Museum at Bethel Woods" by Wade Lawrence. It was a great presentation about Woodstock. The Buckinghams performed this afternoon poolside. A Q&A session titled Remembering the Impact of the British Invasion with Peter Noone, Peter Asher and Micky Dolenz hosted by BeatleBrunch Radio Host Joe Johnson. Then there was a Tribute to Mick Jagger & Joe Cocker by George Trullinger and Tim Stamper. It was great. Loved the Jagger moves. A Make Love, Not War Renewal of Vows Ceremony with Mark Lindsay (Paul Revere & The Raiders). Another All Access Pass Live TV Interview was held with Peter Noone and hosted by Jason Venner. The Theme this night was - It's The Bell Bottom Ball. The evenings main entertainment was Jefferson Starship. Then later in evening a fantastic Tribute to Janis Joplin show by Cara Lee. She was fantastic. The spirit of Janis was there with Cara as she performed. Late night show was performed by Gary Puckett and the Union Gap. Then a late, late show was with Micky Dolenz.
Day 3 - March 2, 2016 - We all enjoyed a beautiful fun filled day on the island of Cozumel, Mexico. Back on board ship, It was a rockin' great day. Starting with Cara Lee performing a tribute to Janis Joplin concert poolside. She did another great show. Later in afternoon, host Jason Venner did another All Access Pass Live TV Interview with Bo Bice. Then after the evenings entertainment was Blood, Sweat & Tears featuring Bo Bice. The Grass Roots performed a fantastic show. Abbey Road on the River Artist Brit Beat and also Hal Bruce performed. Later a Tribute to The Blues Brothers was performed by George Trullinger and Tim Stamper. This nights theme was The British Invasion with Mark Lindsay - former lead singer of Paul Revere & The Raiders. This night we set sail to Key West, FL.
Day 4 - March 3, 2016 - Today we enjoyed a fun packed day at sea. The day started off with a TV Guide Presents Then & Now: A 50th Anniversary Celebration of iconic TV programs. A special Stories Behind the Songs: A Q&A with Felix Cavaliere, The Guess Who and The Grass Roots, hosted by Beatle Brunch Radio Host Joe Johnson. Then Cara Lee performed A Tribute to Cher poolside. She put on an awesome show! Then there was a wine tasting with Micky Dolenz and Gary Puckett The Grass Roots performed poolside. Then there was a Q&A with The Family Stone, Gary Puckett and Mark Lindsay. An All Access Pass Live TV Interview hosted by Jason Venner was with Micky Dolenz. Later in concert was Felix Cavaliere's Rascals. And then another Tribute to The Blues Brothers show. The Guess Who then performed in the main Celebrity Theater. They were rocking just like old times. It was a great show. The theme to this night was Psychedelic 60's Dance Party with The Family Stone. They put on a fantastic show poolside. The band included Sly's daughter. It was a fun night.
Day 5 - March 4, 2016 - Today we arrived in Key West, FL. We all had a great day on Key West. Back on board for the final day on the cruise ship, Cara Lee and The Celebrity Constellation Band performed poolside a Tribute to the Divas of Flower Power Generation. Cara Lee has a beautiful voice. Later today another all Access Pass Live TV Interview was held hosted by Jason Venner with Felix Cavaliere of the Rascals. In the evening the Guess Who performed another great concert. Cara Lee performed a tribute to Cher again and she did a great job. Felix Cavaliere's Rascals perfomed again tonight. The final theme night of the cruise was Farewell Until Next Time with another awesome show with The Family Stone. To end the night, there was a late night concert with Mark Lindsay, former lead singer of Paul Revere & the Raiders.
It was a groovy, far out, out of sight week on the Flower Power Cruise.
