Story and photos by

The "Craven Country
Jamboree" was held in Saskatchewan, Canada on July 11-14, 2013.
The weekend Hosts were Williams and Ree (Bruce Williams and Terry
Ree). They are so funny together.
Thursday, the kickoff party started off at the beer gardens with
Phil Vassar. The beer gardens was packed during Phil's show and he
enjoyed the crowd so much that he played for an extra half hour.
On Friday Small Town Pistols ( Amanda and Tyler Wilkinson )
started off The Country Jamboree, they are the Wilkinson but there
sound is different now and it sounds great. They sing together with
harmony and you can tell they sang together since they were kids.
Sawyer Brown what can you say about them, their songs are always
happening and the crowd always loves them. In the evening Brantley
Gilbert rocked the stage for the young people and he does a great
job of that. To end the day Tim McGraw entered the stage and he is
the heart of the day. His music and songs everyone knows and the
crowd loved the hole concert and sang every song with him.
Saturday rolled in with High Valley on the main stage. Three
brothers with high energy had the crowd involved with them. Late
afternoon Randy Travis was going to sing but he never made it
because of health problems. The Oak Ridge Boys took his spot and
they did a great job in Randy's place. Doc Walker a Canadian band
opened up for The Dixie Chicks. It was unreal to see the Dixie
Chicks back together to sing their hearts out for their Canadian
Sunday came fast and Bill Anderson awarded songwriter and singer.
He sang a lot of old classics songs which people loved. Willie
Robertson from a duck TV show talked to us about his family and
there business, he was very interesting. Late afternoon
Gloriana went on stage, they are two brothers and Rachel Reinert to
make the group and they performed together well. Chad Brownlee a
Kelowna BC. man came on after Gloriana. He is a song writer, singer
and he is really good. The second last performer was Scotty
McCreery. An American Idol's youngest male winner at age 17. I can
see why he won, his voice is really great and people loved him. To
end the Country Jamboree was Kenny Chesney. The grounds was very
full of fans and he put on an great performance. He made the
Jamboree to be one of the best ever.
I want to thank everyone backstage for making this article and
